Worship Guidelines
The following guidelines will serve to help minimize the risk of transmitting the virus in worship.
- If you are ill, have been exposed to someone who is ill, or are showing symptoms, please stay home.
- Wearing a mask is expected. Please bring your own. Disposable masks will also be available.
- Physical distancing is required. Please sit with your household in the designated areas. Remain 6 feet apart from those not in your household.
- Please follow the direction of the ushers in being seated and dismissed.
- We will need to keep our capacity to 50% or less, approximately 75 People. If the sanctuary is full when you arrive the fellowship hall will serve as an overflow area.
- Communion will be pre-packaged and we will not process forward.
- Offering plates will be available at the back of the sanctuary.
- Hymnals and other items in the pews will be removed.
- Please dispose of your bulletin when you leave worship.
- We will limit corporate prayers and singing at this time.
- Restrooms are available. Please be mindful of good handwashing and physical distancing.
- We will not have coffee and fellowship after worship at this time.
- Our custodians will be paying extra attention to sanitizing high-touch surfaces.
- Worship on KLFD Radio, Cable Access TV, and Facebook will continue on Sundays.
Thank you for your attention to these modifications. We cannot eliminate the risks associated with in-person worship, but we can refrain from certain practices in order to reduce the risks. Be well.
With love,
Pr. Megan
